The tiniest hint
of a flavour
overpowers the senses
and fills me with joy
tinier and tinier
I test it
until there's barely
an atom of the flavour
in the mix
still it explodes
savoury
in my mouth
then one atom less
no flavouring at all
and the whole world becomes bland
