sun is shining
through my window
brightens up the winter sky
it's cold outside there's no denying
but in my heart it's warm and dry
nature blows a fierce wind through me
summer's gone and lost in time
still I stand take the tempest
winter is a friend of mine
winter is a dear old friend
the cold reminds us of the days
when summer sun beams down upon us
so love the snow and love the rays
