despite absurdity
there are still things to enjoy
sunrise
and sunset
spring
and autumn
snow in winter
those cold crisp
impossibly fresh days in January
warmth in summer
birds landing on branches
outside your window
yes the philosopher inside us
may carp
it's all accidental
meaningless
absurd
but that too
that conjecture
is absurd
absurdity is absurd
enjoy the pleasures
accept the inevitability of death
rejoice in the absurd situation
we all find ourselves in
